UW Credit Union will begin construction of a new, full-service branch in the Market Place Area. The address will be 250 South Grand Avenue. The office will serve Sun Prairie as well as Windsor and DeForest. This will be a full service bank with drive-up lanes, surcharge free ATMs, safe deposit boxes and even parking for customers! I have some money in another office and have found the service to be perfectly adequate compared to my experience at other banks.
This pictures shows the land before the UW Credit Union building constructin was started.

O'connell Pharmacy, in the Market Place is now open for business.
Update 3/15/2008
Fan 4 Ever has opened a new store in the Market Place Building. Fan 4 Ever is a store devoted to Brett Favre souvenirs, collectibles and memorabilia. Sun Prairie Wisconsin loves Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers. It looks like Fan 4 Ever may be moving from their present location at 1435 W Main St in Sun Prairie. Fan 4 Ever seems to be the official marketing representative for Brett Favre.
Cost Cutters has opened their new store in the Market Place Building. As you can see, the outside of the building is not finished yet but that doesn't prevent the businesses from opening.
New construction on Sun Prairie's West Side is booming with the start of construction of the Market Place building. It is being built by Ghidorzi Construction. One of the new tenants of Market Place will be O'Connell Pharmacy and another is Cost Cutters. Metallon Properties can be contacted for lease space. 608-244-1991. This commercial area is right in the middle of Golden Meadows Subdivision and multi-family housing also newly under construction and some already occupied. Market Place will be just North of the new Super Target in Sun Prairie.
