Sun Prairie area residents will now be able to renew their license plate stickers at the Marathon Convenience Store. This is part of a new program that is supposed to make license plate renewal faster and more convenient.
According to the Wisconsin License Centers and State Department of Transportation, residents seeking to renew their license stickers need only bring their license plate number to the store. The store clerks will process the renewal over the Internet and print new license plate stickers at the counter. There is a built in service fee of $3.25 for renewals plus, stores can add a fee up to $10 maximum.
